Autumn Review 2014

Its been quite a year at the PHPC and due to being so busy we've not really had a chance to update this news section since the SoP was in mid-flow. So we'd like to start by offering big congratulations to Saab for taking down The Summer of Poker and becoming our 2014 champion. Saab has continued his good form and looks to be challenging for the Player of the Year accolade as well being only a couple of cashes behind the ever reliable HoneyBadger.

We also need to congratulate Ols on winning The Shield 2014, which is our cup format competition and as such a little harder to win then all of the others. To win The Shield you need to get at least one win in the qualifiers and then take down the final too. Ols did in in fine style and will have his name immortalised on our shield wall.

It goes without saying that the reason we have been so busy this year is because of our move from The Tooting Progressive Club to The Royal Surrey. We hope you agree it was a move in the right direction for the club - we now have an extra two table available to us and can move around the tables a lot more easily due to the extra space.

In the new year we hope to resurect the famous Royal Mondays and we hope they'll attract a lot of new members to the club.

The years not over of course and we're bang in the middle of the Christmas Bazaar campaign and once this is over we will fit both out Tournament of Champions and our Christmas special in so its a busy period as always.

We're glad to have you as part of the club, a club isn't a club without a loyal membership base and we're immensely proud of ours.

See you at the tables.
